One of her best known parts has been her role as Adalind Schade in the TV show Grimm in the year 2011. Coffee also played Cassie Tatum in The West Wing, in 2003. She has a recurring role in the role of Janie in Franklin & Bash between the years of 2011 and 2012. Coffee also appeared on the TV shows Yes, Dear, Cold Case, Strong Medicine, NCIS, Bones, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains, The Good Guys, CSI: Miami, Psych, CSI: Miami, The League, Royal Pains The Good Guys, and The Good Guys. Claire was married to the musician Chris Thile from Nickel Creek in 2013.
